Sophia

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she recently made the move to Butte and is excited to begin a new chapter in Montana. With over two years of experience in veterinary medicine, she brings a growing foundation of knowledge and a genuine desire to continue learning and developing her skills.

She is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology & Ecology through Arizona State University, combining her interest in the natural world with her passion for working with animals. Her goal in veterinary medicine is to continue advancing her skills, gain new experiences, and learn as much as she can along the way.

One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is getting to know each patient as an individual. She enjoys discovering their unique personalities during their visits and finding ways to help them feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys camping and hiking, as well as painting and creating botanical sketches. Her longtime companion, Sandy, is a Havanese who will celebrate her 10th birthday in October. She has had Sandy since she was a puppy, making her a very special part of the family.
