Ryann
Veterinary Technician
Ryann is a Butte native who recently returned home after living in Missoula. She has worked in veterinary medicine on and off since 2018 and is passionate about helping both pets and their people navigate the veterinary care journey.
She earned a Biology degree with a Microbiology/Pre-Veterinary emphasis from the University of Montana Western in Dillon. While her original plan was to attend veterinary school, life led her in a different direction, allowing her to build a rewarding career in veterinary medicine while staying close to family. Most recently, she earned her professional grooming certification and continues to explore opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills within the field.
One of Ryann's personal goals in veterinary medicine is helping clients feel comfortable and informed about their pets' care. She enjoys explaining procedures, treatments, and recommendations in a way that helps owners understand not only what is being done, but why it matters. She believes that clear communication helps strengthen the bond between veterinary teams and pet owners.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is watching patients come into the clinic with serious illnesses or injuries, helping care for them through treatment, and seeing them return to happy, healthy lives. She also loves learning from the veterinarians she works alongside and continually expanding her knowledge through their expertise and experience.
Outside of work, Ryann enjoys spending time with her husband and son, baking, crafting, photography, and exploring Montana's outdoors. She and her husband make it a tradition to backpack and hike mountain peaks together each year, often accompanied by their adventure-loving dog, Lola.
At home, Ryann shares life with Lola, a Blue Heeler/Cocker Spaniel mix who is a dedicated fetch enthusiast and loyal companion. Above all, Ryann values being a wife, a mother, and someone who is always learning and growing both personally and professionally.
