Surgery & Advanced Care Focus

Dr. Dulce Coulson brings over 10 years of interdisciplinary medical and surgical experience to the table. She developed her gift for veterinary surgery during her surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado and surgical residency at Los Angeles Animal Hospital, where she was mentored by Dr. Donald Piermattei (the father of veterinary orthopedics) and Dr. Ronald Bright (renowned soft tissue surgeon), along with a team of specialists in other disciplines including oncology, internal medicine, neurology and critical care. Dr. Coulson's passion is delivering quality, innovative client-and-patient-centered care with a hometown feel.

Associate Veterinarian

Equine Focus

Dr. Foust comes to us as a 2016 graduate of Kansas State University.  During his internship at Rocky Mountain Equine Hospital in Sheridan, Wyoming he took a special interest in equine lameness and reproduction. His enthusiasm and willingness to learn, help, and teach; along with his can-do attitude have made him an amazing asset to our team.  We have truly enjoyed watching him grow and expand our equine practice. In his free time, you'll find him outdoors hunting, fishing, or going on a ride with his horse, Max.

Associate Veterinarian

Bovine & Herd Health Focus

A 2017 graduate, Dr. Johnson joins us from the University of Illinois veterinary program after spending her first year working at a mixed animal practice in Corning, Iowa. She has a passion for cows and neonatal medicine, and especially thrives in wet cold calving seasons. She is currently being mentored in small animal surgery by Dr. Coulson, finds a challenge and joy in reproductive medicine and has a passion for teaching others. As a side note, Dr. Johnson also has a mild obsession with giraffes.
