Katelyn

Veterinary Technician

Katelyn was born in Washington and moved to Butte in 2004, where she’s proudly called home ever since. She joined Butte Veterinary Center in June 2024, beginning her career in veterinary medicine with a clear goal in mind—to become a veterinarian.

In an exciting milestone, Katelyn has officially been accepted into veterinary school for 2026! Her dedication, work ethic, and heart for this profession have already set her apart, and we couldn’t be more proud to support her as she takes this next incredible step toward her dream.

One of Katelyn’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is what happens behind the scenes—the quiet moments clients may not always see, where every team member pours love, compassion, and care into each patient. She believes those small moments are what truly define great medicine.

Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys skiing, reading, puzzling, and spending time on any body of water. She’s also actively involved with the Butte Spay Neuter Task Force. At home, she has three chiweenies and an Aussie mix—who, as she likes to remind us, once broke his toe as a puppy… proving it can happen to anyone.
