Dr. Chad Foust

Dr. Foust is a graduate of Kansas State University and originally from upstate New York. After completing an equine internship following veterinary school, he joined Butte Veterinary Center and has grown tremendously in both experience and responsibility over the years.

Today, he serves as our Medical Director and sole full-time DVM, providing steady, thoughtful leadership and consistent, high-quality medical care. His commitment to his patients and the community has helped Butte Veterinary Center earn recognition as Best of Butte and Beyond multiple times, including the 2025 win.

 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Foust enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s fishing, horseback riding, or hunting. At home, he cares for horses, chickens, a cat, and his dog, Relay, reflecting his lifelong appreciation for animals both in and out of practice.
