Amanda

Practice Manager

Originally from Frenchtown, MT, Amanda moved to Butte in 2018 and joined BVC shortly after, beginning her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant. Through hard work and a genuine passion for patient care, she advanced to veterinary technician and now serves as our Practice Manager.

Amanda holds a degree in Wildlife Biology and previously volunteered in Wyoming studying wildlife crossings, with a special focus on pronghorn migration. Her background in wildlife science continues to shape her perspective in veterinary medicine, especially her appreciation for the human–animal bond. She believes the connection between people and their pets is at the heart of what makes this profession meaningful.

As a full-time veterinary technician, Amanda especially loved running anesthesia — guiding patients safely through procedures and monitoring them during vulnerable moments. Ensuring pets were safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way was one of the most rewarding parts of her day and continues to influence how she approaches clinic operations today.

In her role as Practice Manager, Amanda focuses on supporting the team, maintaining high standards of care, and helping the clinic run smoothly so both patients and clients have a positive experience.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children — hiking, camping, RZR riding, and exploring Montana. She is also an avid beekeeper and loves caring for her honey bees. At home, she has a three-legged cat named Engie, two dogs (Larry and Lulu), a flock of chickens, and, of course, plenty of bees.
